mac-authentication on E4210G
Hi,
on this switch there is no chance to send mac-addresses from client-devices to a radius-server in uppercases. The statement
"mac-authentication authmode usernameasmacaddress usernameformat withhyphen uppercase"
doesn't work!
The option "uppercase" isn't availible on this type of switch. On a 3COM 4200G-Switch the statement up works fine! We need the mac-addresses in uppercases, because older switches (3COM 3870) send this addresses only in uppercases. We have an microsoft radius-server and there it is important to send the password in the correct way.
Does anybody have a solution for this problem?
Matthias
