Meshing and distributed trunking (server-to-switch)
Hi,
We're running a mesh of 5412zl switches but would like to use server-to-switch distributed trunking for a vmware installation.
Most of the documentation states that meshing and DT are mutually exclusive though I'm sure I found an example that suggested a server-to-switch DT is permissable within a mesh.
If this is the case, is an ISC required or not, or does the mesh itself handle this?
I'm willing to take them to the latest firmware, though I'd like to know if anyone has had experience of trying this?
Thanks
Tom
