Need help with new switch 2910-48G-PoE+ al Switch

Just received a new switch with a note in it that says that I need rev "B" or later mini-GBICs or SFPs.

Many of my switches and devices use the J9150A.

Which SFPs are offered by HP that are compatible, or have the same features as the J9150A that can be used on this switch?

Hi Frank,

I don't think you will have a problem with the J9150A SFP+ module working in your 2910al switch. According to the compatibility list for that model it will work...

The "B-rev" ref is for the switch (dual personality ports) those take only Gig transceivers the J9150A is a 10GbE that is supported in the module that you can plug in the back of the 2910, the J9008A module.
