No longer could SSH to switch after configuring snmpv3

After enabling and configuring for SNMPv3 on the 2920 series switch, ssh connection (using Putty) to the switch failed.  The error was "Server unexpectedly closed network connection".   Anyone came across this problem and how to resolve it?
