PBR support for older 5400 switch
Hi
When i configure Policy Based Routing in older 5400 switches i get the following error. All these will have V1 modules only So does this mean HP only support PBR in latest V2 5400 switches ??
Switch-2(policy-pbr-class)# action ip next-hop 192.168.122.10
This command is not supported with v1-modules. Please enter the command
'no allow-v1-modules' to enable the v2-module capabilities.

Re: PBR support for older 5400 switch
That's true. You need v2 modules.
Cheers,
Michael

Re: PBR support for older 5400 switch
Check the modules with (version listed in far right column)
show modules
You also need to disable compatability mode
no allow-v1-modules
Note:
- In Compatibility Mode, no v2 zl features are allowed whether the modules are all v2 zl or not.
If Compatibility Mode is disabled, and then enabled, the startup config is erased and the chassis will reboot.
