ProCurve 2530-48G Fiber port

Hello,

   I have a ProCurve 2530-48G switch, I want to link it to a core switch using Fiber.

I have a Transciver Edge-core Model: ET4201-SX, when I plug it in the Fiber port an amber light turns on, I tried it in a working Fiber port it does same thing, I tested it with a Fiber meter and there is no activity, is this Transiver not supported by the Switch, if yes what is your recommendation?

Check your switch log - it should be telling you that it is an unsupported transceiver.
