I have a HP Procurve 2650, and in an effort to connect the switch to a centralized network management software, i attempted to add the managment servers Ip address in the list of Authorized addressses on the switch. Then i could not access the swith's web console from anywhere.
There was previously no addresses in this list so the switch'es web port coudl be access from anywhere as long as you had the credentials.
I added the adress 172.24.100.44 with ip mask 255.255.0.0 and operator access level.
I have a backup of the switches configuration file and wuoldnt mind restoring it from back up if this is what is required. Please advise.
