Procurve 2810-48G (J9022A)- upable to connect
Hi,
I have changed the IP addres to Static for our switch at one of our offices.
Since, the IP is changed, I cannot connect or ping to the switch remotely. I can login from the same office and ping it from there.
I could connect to it when It was on DHCP.
Can you please help?
Thanks

Re: Procurve 2810-48G (J9022A)- upable to connect
We do not have VLAN or anything.
Apart from static IP, there is no other configuration on the switch
Thanks

Re: Procurve 2810-48G (J9022A)- upable to connect
Give it a default GW of the router address for its subnet.
If the static IP you have given it is in the same subnet as the old DHCP address it was getting, you can see what the router address is by checking the router address in the DHCP scope for that subnet.

Re: Procurve 2810-48G (J9022A)- upable to connect
Hi Vince,
Thanks for your reply but i have given the DG. As soon as I click on Done after Apply Changes, the DG disappears.
No the static IP is different than the DHCP IP.
Thanks

Either update your switch firmware and try again, or use the CLI to configure your default GW.
