ProCurve 3400cl-48G crash with 'Software exception in ISR at intr.c:600'

Hi,

I have a HP ProCurve 3400cl-48g running firmware M.08.87, recently it crashed with the 'Software exception in ISR at intr.c:600' log entry, is this a known bug that is fixed or does it look like a hardware issue?

It's not explicitly in the release notes anywhere that I can see but looks like a known bug:

Hopefully the fix was ported to all the affected platforms.

M.08.87 is quite an old version of firmware. Even the latest firmware for the 3400cl is several years old now. My 3400 is running M.10.76 with an uptime of 170 days at present. As Richard has pointed out, there's a known bug, so an upgrade to M.10.76 would be advisable as a first step.
