Re: procurve 7102dl constantly rebooting
I don't know what that error actually means.
Do you have a backup of your switch config? I hope so.
Assuming I had the config safely backed-up, and assuming I felt like having a play with this to experiment, the first thing I would try is this:
Remove every module from the 3 module slots, and also remove the flash card from the back.
Try another reboot.
Second experimental thing I would try is this:
Get a known-working 7102 router and ensure you have its config fully backed-up.
Hot-swap the flash cards (without rebooting!) to put the bad router's flash in it
copy these files from the good router to the bad router's flash:
J0X_0X.biz
SROS.BIZ
startup-config
(I'd make sure I kept an extra copy of these, in case I make a mistake)
Still without rebooting, remove the flash and put it back in the bad router
reboot the bad router.
This is assuming I had no critical configs on either of these routers, and assuming neither is in production.
If anything is in production, don't play around with it until you have HP support give you advice.
