Re: ProVision to Comware trunk - port unselected
Is really easier if you have a look at the HPE FlexFabric 5710 Switch Series Virtual Technologies Configuration Guide (valid for R2702 and newer). It's dedicated to IRF, concepts, deployment and management of such a technology.
Basically the two (chained) IRF Members start to act as a single logical identity (and they're seen that way from peers), the IRF is going to have a Commander member and a Standby member (that's on the simple two members IRF case).
Peer devices (your Server and/or your other Aruba 5400 Switch) are going to be connected by using LAG LACP (port bonding/aggregation with LACP as the link aggregation control protocol). If the Commander became faulty the Standby member continues the operation. Clearly each LAG leg need to depart from the peer and terminate on a IRF Member...that's to ensure that a leg/interface/IRF member fault doesn't cause the entire LAG to go down.

Re: ProVision to Comware trunk - port unselected
Hello @parnassus
Just looked at the documentation and I will set up IRF using it. Seems quite understandably.
Thanks a lot for your help and great support. I really appreciate all your help
