remove a custome default config file
I have by mistake upload a config as a custom default configuration and was wondering if there was someway that the default configuration could be restored so i can restore the switch the correct configuration.
Is it possible with the boot room module to copy the config.def file to a usb and then copy that config.def to the broken switch thus restoring the config.
Or can i can just get a empty config file with no settings or anything and copy that over the switch using the tftp or usb option.

Re: remove a custome default config file
Not sure what switch we're talking about here, but if you're not interested in saving any configs on the switch and you just want to re-configure it properly, you could factory reset it. That'll overwrite any "default" (startup) configuration you've set. Instructions may vary but generally on ProCurve these should work:
