sh mesh traceroute doesn't show any hops

On K.15.16.0004 and KB.15.16.0004 a "show mesh traceroute..." returns the initial summary line of what's it's going to trace but nothing else.  For example:

Using a mac address/vlan combination that's not in the table returns an error so it's at least checking that far but I get no trace.

If no one has any idea why I'm not getting any output then could someone confirm that this works for them?  The documentation says it should but I suppose that doesn't guarantee that it does.
