show mac-address : how to remove paging

Is there a way to prevent the show mac-address command from paging the data?

I would like to configure my switch so that it returns everything the first time.  aka. I don't want to have to press space or enter to get more data.

Run 'no page' before you run 'show mac-address'.  This affects all commands, not just 'show mac-address'.  See the diagnostic commands section of the management and configuratoin guide for more info.

Thanks.  I imagine that this command has to be repeated for each telnet / ssh session I establish with the switch...

or if i do it once, is it a permanent setting?

i'm googling for a manual this morning and I will check it out.

Nope... you just give command "page" or "no page", it's not session-specific. It even survives a reboot.

Easiest way to find support info in HPN website: go to http://h17007.www1.hp.com/us/en/support/converter/index.aspx and search with your switch model (for example 5400) or product number (for example J4813A) and you get links to SW downloads, manuals etc.
