Shutdown SVI Interface
I'm relativitly new to the HP procurve line. I have two 5406zl, setup to use VRRP to perform gateway redunancy.
I have need to to move the routing interface to a seperate device, in the same VLAN.
How do I shutdown the SVI on the primary router, but allow the VLAN to remain up?
On a cisco I would disable the interface VLAN, but the VLAN remains online.
Mike

Re: Shutdown SVI Interface
Hi,
This was a long-time complaint on provision indeed.
They have added this in the K15.12 release for the 5400:
disable layer3 vlan xx
It will stop the routing, without removing the config. (like shutdown on the vlan interface for cisco/comware devices)
So you may need to update firmware first (and check if this is public/early code)
Best regards,Peter.
