Slow traffic in one direction
Hello, I have several 2848 switches and a 6200yl which are uplink by either fiber or copper. The switches are also connected to a managed router / WAN solution.
We are experiencing a phenomenon where "inbound" traffic, that is, anything coming from the WAN to the LAN is fast, but outbound to the WAN is crawling at around 9-10kbs. Also, on the LAN itself, we experience the same type of behavior. A PC on one switch can send a file to a server on another switch fast, but when that same file is retrieve FROM the server, the transfer is slow.
All firmware is up to date, no LACP or trunking, only a couple of VLANS on the switches. They are pretty vanilla.
Any thoughts as to what could be causing this issue?
Attaching a sample config from a 2848 and the 6200

Re: Slow traffic in one direction
Get rid of QoS priority 7.
Default queues in devices are usually very small for priority 6 & 7 (although Procurve appear to have treated 6 as though it were 5 for some reason, so 6 works on Procurve but in a mixed vendor environment, 6 is not a priority that gives you any kind of good performance).
5 should be used for Voice
4 for video
0 for default
