Stacking technology
Hello, I need help:
First question:
Is it possible to organize the aggregation of ports on the two devices stack technology "Virtual Stacking"? Ie create a trunk and add the ports 0/0/48 1/0/48. Will provide load balancing?
The second question is:
What is the essential difference between technology "Virtual stacking" and "IRF Stacking"?
In advance thanks

Re: Stacking technology
1. You will need to tell us what switch model you are using.
2. "Virtual stacking" is not stacking. It is management clustering.
"IRF stacking" is 3COM-specific stacking technology which creates a proper single virtual switch out of multiple hardware chassis.
