Threshold setting in HP Procurve Switches

Dear all 

 

Would request to know , how can we set the threshold setting in ethernet port of HP procurve Switches.  by default is it 30 % ?

Not sure what the default value is.

Setting broadcast limit in older software versions:

interface all

broadcast-limit 20

 

In newer versions:

 

interface all

rate-limit bcast in percent 20

What could be a cause of Packet Drop, This is the certian digits and never exceed from this ,  I have already changed Cable from that port which is connected to Cache Box.
