Simple 2 cable connection between the two switches. (no vlans, just want more bandwidth)
I logged into the internal website, clicked trunks, membership, clicked the radio button for ports 3&5 for trunk T1. Then logged into the other switch and did the same.
Did I need to do this on both switches??
Seems to be working. just wondering if i did it wrong.

SolutionYes you would do this on both switches. From the command prompt on both switches when you do a "show run" you should see:
trunk 3,5 trk1 trunk
toward the top of your configuration(s)
If you do a show trunks or show trunk <3,5> you should see these trunks listed.
Most importantly if you are passing traffic with both of these links connected and haven't created a loop you are good to go.
