upgrading dual management modules

Hi all,

Got a HP procurve J9091A with dual management modules in the slots

One is in standby mode and the other is active

My question is shall I upgrade the standby one first and then upgrade the active one as I'm hoping if I do it this way there will be no or less downtime

Or if I upgrade the standby one will it automatically upgrade the active one aswell and then I have to reboot the whole switch for it to take affect
