VLAN between switches
I have an HP2810-24G switch with a custom VLAN (226) installed in a server room. That switch is connected via an ethernet cable to an HP2848 switch via port 1. The 2848 in turn, is connected via Fiber to our central switch which is a 4108GL. Finally, there is an HP2848 on the 4th floor, connected to the 4108GL via fiber also. How can I get a port on the 4th floor switch to talk to the custom VLAN (226) on that first switch? I was thinkink that I needed to create the VLAN (226) on all switches that data would travel through from start to end, then also tag all the connecting ports with the VLAN (226). Is this correct, if not, how? Thanks!

Re: VLAN between switches
Yep just create the vlan on all the switches and tag it on the links between them and you're set.
