Hi
Is it possible to translate a VLAN tag on a specific tagged Port to another VLAN tag with the proCurve 2920 switch?
If no, which switch has this capability?

The way I would bridge two VLANs would be to patch two untagged ports to each other, with each of the two facing ports configured with a different VLAN.

Yes, this was also my first idea.
But i would solve it on the switch device, without this "silly loop cable" :)

QoS allows you to classify frames based on the 802.1q header and re-write 3 bits inside that header, but the bits involved are the ToS bits, not the VLAN ID bits.
I don't think you can do it.
