Voice Setup on HP procurve switch 2510
Hi,
I have 3 switchs Hp procurve 2510-48. I want to configure one of them to work with two Vlans, one in data mode, Vlan1 (default) and another vlan (called Voz 100) for voice mode.
I try to configure the equipment, but really don't work well.
My vlan1 have ip's from 10..9.25.x and vlan100 ip's from 192.168.x.x for cisco telephones. The port for linking the switch to router is in trunk mode.
The telephone connected , not getting an ip from vlan 100, only for vlan1.
I try many differents ways to setup the switch, but does not work.
Is the procurve 2510 limited and can not work with voice lan ?
Best regards

Re: Voice Setup on HP procurve switch 2510
The phone is getting a DHCP offer, which is good.
What you need to do now is add in the Voice VLAN ID to the Cisco Phone DHCP config option so that the phone knows it needs to boot up on VLAN 100.
