about Emulex LP9002l

i use Emulex LP9002-F2 HBA puting in HP9000 L2000 HP host system,direct to EMC CLARiiON
via Firbe channel,First HBA install driver for hp-ux is normal,EMC connect HP host state is normal,i can put host in storge group at EMC CX ,but hosts cannot see EMC devices ,Pls tell me solve this problem?

You need to make sure that the CX is set up correctly for HP-UX. One important thing is known as operating system selection, host mode, profile or something like that (I am not familiar with the CX's terminology). You need a way to tell the CX to use the so-called "volume set addressing" or VSA mode when talking to a HP-UX server. It has nothing to do with 'volume groups' - it's a low level feature.
