ACS v8.7F Patches

As part of our ongoing upgrade I have noticed that ACS v8.7 does not appear to show the patch
level when the controller is restarted. It used to show the patch level as (-x) ie 8.6 (-13).
Is this a feature of v8.7 or is something wrong ?

I have never seen that - can you post an example output as an attachment?

Here is an example, but it is not the latest patch available...

Thanks for the quick response. I've attached a screen dump. The controller has patches 2-7 installed.

Hi Leslie,

Your screenshot seems to show you have ACS 8.7F-0. The patches cannot be applied to this version. You need minimum ACS 8.7F-1, which involves replacing the PCMCIA cards in the HSG controllers. There's no other way from 8.7-0 to 8.7-1. You should contact HP about this upgrade. Once you have ACS 8.7F-1, the patches can be applied successfully, and will display correctly in a SHOW THIS output.

I thought it a bit odd that the revision level was 0 but thought it may have been a feature of v8.7.
