Hi,

I have 4 blades running Oracle accessing an msa1500.

On only one of the blades, the /var/log/messages file has a few of these:
SCSI disk error : host 0 channel 0 id 0 lun 9 return code = 20000
I/O error: dev 08:80, sector 53312000

So HP support has asked me to run an ADU. Can I run the adu from the blade reporting the problem while the database is up and running on the other blades?

Yes, you can...

ADU just scans your scsi/fc hardware and creates a report.
