Re: BC/CA Implementations
KPG,
All you need is the RM User Guide. RAID MANAGER guide will tell you exactly how to do the following:
1. Configure the local and remote HORCMn.conf files
2. strat the HORCM-Manager services on specific ports on local and remote host
3. Check the status of PVOL and SVOL
4. Run the initial sync of PVOL and SVOL
5. Check the status of copy (sync)
6. Suspend (or Split) the PVOL and SVOL relation
7. If needed re-sync the PVOL and SVOL
For better understanding I have given a proper sequence in the above explanation, please read the UserGuide at:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01807131/c01807131.pdf
Goodluck and feel free to ask any confusion you may have with the document and hope someone will help you again.

Re: BC/CA Implementations
Hi,
1. create a command device and assign it to horcm host manager
2. configure horcmXX.conf (i.e :
HORCM_MON
HOSTS horcmXX 1000 3000
HORCM_CMD
/dev/dsk/command_device
HORCM_LDEV )
3. define horcmXX to specific udp port
4. start horcm instances (horcmstart.sh XX)
5. define specific pair in horcmXX.conf then create/split/resync etc etc ...
