boot BL blade with qlogic hba from mas1500 lun for RHAS 4
Hi
were trying to boot a bl blade from a msa1500 lun through brcd fabric. it installs ok on the msa1500 lun but when trying to boot from the kernel we get the following :
PCI: failed to allocate memory resource
No Volume groups found
Unable to find vol group "VolGroup000"
Error:/bin/lvm exit abnormally
switchroot: mount failed.
umount /initrd/dev
Kernel Panic - Not sync - attempt to kill init.
any ides how to get around it....

Just wondering... are you using an updated kernel that has the proper driver loaded in it?
During the install, extra drivers may get loaded that are not actually in the kernel. I could also be way off since I am no expert when it comes to Linux.

Since you got that far though "looking for VG's and such", makes me think the kernel is fine...
