Brocade 48000: "Password validation failed"

when trying to create a new user on the switch the error message listed above appears.

FOS: 5.2.0a.

any ideas?

I am using FOS 6.2.0a and from the CLI you can use the following command:

userconfig --add -r

the options for the role are:
admin | user | switchadmin | zoneadmin | fabricadmin | basicswitchadmin | operator | securityadmin

do you have anything set for password strength ? passwdcfg --showall
