Brocade SAN Switch Configuration backup
Hi Team,
I am planning to configure FTP in Windows Server and from there i will take the Configuration Backup of SAN Switch.
Is it Correct method or any other way to take SAN Switch Configuration backup.
Please Share any Best Practice to take SAN Switch Configuration Backup.

configupload is the command from the CLI.
Isn't it possible to do this in DCFM? Haven't used DCFM but seems like a nice feature to be able to regularly collect configs instead of manually doing it after doing changes.

I hope there are much more to think about best practice for taking backup.
When ever if we change any Zoning or other configuration on the switch, its good to take the config backup.

These all practice we already following before any zoning doing clone backup for all zoneset in the switch.
we trying to automate the backup.
If u have any such good script then kindly share.

If you have an FTP-service running, you can write a bat script that via telnet/ssh logs on, runs configupload and puts config on the FTP-server. Maybe you want to put in some kind of renaming as well of the configfile.
