brocade telnet script
I have 7 NT/Exchange servers and a 9840FC drive attached to a 4116 switch. Due to services that run on all the
servers (Top Tools, Net IQ, etc.) their NT backups intermittently fail. These services check for hardware availability on a scheduled basis
and if there is a backup in progress these services can and do cause the backup to fail. The only way I know of to isolate a particular
server and the 9840 drive is via a separate configuration. Is there anyone out there that may have a script or batch file that would enable
a configuration via telnet on the 4116? If the customer shuts the questionable services down on all the exchange servers during his backup
window he has then disabled the servers from reporting any errors that may be critical. The script would likely contain a telnet aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
followed by a response to login:, a response to Password:, a wait for admin> prompt, issue a cfgEnable "xxxxxxxxx" command and finally a logout.
