Business Copy EVA (Agent) strange behaviour...!
Hy!
I have an EVA5000 with Business Copy EVA 2.2 installed. My Windows 2000 SP4 Server has the BC Agent 2.2 installed.
When i define a SnapShot Job and want to mount the SnapShot on the W2k Server, the server tells me to REBOOT before the drive can be used... and it really does not work without a reboot!
When i DISMOUNT the snapshot from the server again, it tells me the stuff about illegal removed hardware!
how can i avoid this behaviour? i want to mount and dismount the drive automaticall without a reboot, of course. in w2k3 it works...
thanks in advance,
regards,
matthias

Re: Business Copy EVA (Agent) strange behaviour...!
I haven't seen this when I tried it, but I don't recall if I was using BC V2.2 or V2.2.1 - the new version does have fixes for the Windows HA. Can you upgrade?
