Hi
I want to read up on the upcoming/new journaling function available in the EVA4k/6k/8k for Continuous Access.
Can anyone point me to any docs that explain this function or has a list of the changes, or features available?
thanks

Solution
This very new EVA feature has not been announced yet thus no official paper is available as of today!
The new asynchronous CA will provide enhanced asynchronous distance and latency support using buffer-to-disk. Expect it in June/July timeframe!
The EVA will have dedicated journaling LUNs. Writes will be applied to the local LUN and written to the journal. The journal gets constantly replicated to the second EVA.
This will make you undependent of your link speed and the amount of writes to the primary EVA.
Cheers
Peter
