Cache size XP128/XP1024 using CA
L.S.
My company is considering to buy a pair of XP128 or XP1024 systems. The amount of data to be stored wil initially be between 3 and 5 TB. All data will be mirrored to the other system (CA). The HP configuration guide (may 2002) states a minimum of 10 GB cache for this amount of data, but there are people who say I need more cache (about 16 GB) because I will use CA. Is this correct? Does it make a difference when I use sync- or async CA?
There is nothing mentioned in the guide about extra cache for CA.
Can anybody answer my question?
