Can we put these disks on our SANS
We have two SANS : MSA 2024 and P2000 G3
We also have some spare disks from old Proliant servers.
Can we put these disks in the SAN?
146GB 432320-001 DG146ABAB4
We would make a new RAID with them
The existing disks are 300 GB 507284-001 and 493083-001

Re: Can we put these disks on our SANS
Hello,
the disks you have in are dual-port drives.
The one you have from the old proliants are very likely single port drives.
If they do work there will be some redundancy features lost (that's if you have a dual controller P2000 G3).
