Cascade Switch

Hi,
When I cascade 2 Brocade SW3200 without running fabric os, and connecting servers and tape library (with internal routers) in each ends, having problem of detecting the library, any ideas? Or do I necessary need fabric os to run? thanks.

Check if domain IDs of the switches you're interconnecting are different. Also check zoning - when connecting switches togather zoning info should exactly match at both switches

Forget to mention, Domain ID is different. (1 and 2 respectively) And I use qlshow to check on all ALFA seems alright...no zoning is configured since not using any Fabric license.

Hi,

do you have device probing enabled? we had a problem that all loop devices were not seen after disabling device probing!

Gather supportshow from both switches (when they're interconnected), zip them and attach to your next reply
