Hello,
I have an HP VA7400 attached to an HP Fiber Channel Switch FC16.
Attached to this FC Switch I had 2 HP Unix servers (10.20HPUX) and 2 Windows 2000 Advanced Servers, each one with 2 FC 2GB adapters.
We removed the HP Unix servers and let the Windows 2000 Servers attached to the FC Switch.
I want to recover the LUNs that were assigned to the HPUX servers and reassign them to the Windows Servers.
I have serial connection to the FC Switch and want to know how to remove the LUN’s security and configure them using the WWN so each previous Unix LUN could be accessed by only one Windows server.
Could you tell me how to do this, please?
Any help will be much appreciated, Thanks in advance!
Miguel.

Solution
If you use the secure manager on the VA the switch is the wrong place to do modifications. Use the command view SDM GUI to adjust your settings.
From the host do a "man armsecure" for more info ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
