change priority on ungrouping a disk

Hi,

we have a EVA 8000 installed and we ungrouped a disk which took EVA 1,5 hour to complete. Does anybody know if there is a choice somewhere to set up the priority of this job?

I have understood that grouping and ungrouping disks are done in the background in spare time. Which mean that there is no priority of this kind of jobs.

Hi,

if there is such option, it might be accessible for service guys only. I think that changing it would have performance impact on other operations.
It also depends on how full is the disk group. If you are reaching the limit (95%) then it takes longer.
