Command View 6.1
We have Command View 4.1.2 tied to 4 EVA 5000. I wanted to know if the upgrade to the newer one is free and where I can download it from

Hi,
No. I don't believe CV EVA v5 or v6 are available for free download. You may find patches to get up to v6.0.2, but these must be installed on top of v6.0.0 or 6.0.1.
If you have a maintenance contract for your EVAs then you will probably have been sent the CDs for the later version.
If not then you're probably looking at having to purchase the new version.

No it is not.
In fact we are on 6.1 and it manages older EVA5000s that are pre VCS 4.x.
And yes the software is readilydownloadable as pointed out by the previous poster.
