Command View EVA 6.02 Problem
Hi ,
Upgrade of command view EVA v5 to Command View Eva 6.02 failed.
In fact the first upgrade from V5 to 6.00 run correctly.
But the second upgrade (V6.02)start , detect the presence of the V6.00 , uninstall the V6.00 , reboot the server , runonce the V6.02 , and at the end nothing !
no icons on the desktop , no url in the folder !
If i try to reinstall the v6.02 , a message that the V6 is not installed appear and exit is the only choice.
How to debug this situation ?
Thank for any help
Didier DANEL

Re: Command View EVA 6.02 Problem
Try to uninstall any Command View version that remains on your server, delete the folder on C:\Program Files and install Command View 6.0 again. Then upgrade to 6.02.

Re: Command View EVA 6.02 Problem
Hi Danel,
I had the same problem and the workaround is to remove SMS-S components in 6.0 before upgrading to 6.0.2, as described in the release notes :
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=471497&swItem=co-46715-1&prodNameId=3185481&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=0
Regards
Jean-Pierre
