Re: command view EVA is not seeing the HSV controllers
What is the zoning configuration in your SAN switches? The server running Command View must be in a zone that includes the EVA's fibre ports.

Re: command view EVA is not seeing the HSV controllers
1) Check your SAN zoning
2) Please use SCSIPORT miniport HP/Qlogic driver. You can change to STORPORT later on, but please use SCSIPORT for now. Version 9.1.3.11 can be downloaded at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=439556&prodNameId=315741&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=co-44944-1 . Extract the downloaded ZIP-file. Open a command prompt and install the driver using "cp006969.exe /X" The /X parameter ensures you reset the HBA driver parameters. Reboot your server
3) If correctly zoned/installed you should now see EVA CCLs/Array Device under SCSI-adapters in Windows Device Manager. COmmand View EVA should then work.
If not you can use SANsurfer Manager http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=439556&prodNameId=315741&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=co-44946-1 . Install this and select your FC-HBA. Press Device List och Target Persistent Bindings and you should be able to see your EVA-ports. If not you must check your SAN-zoning
