Command View EVA - logging events
Hi
Just wondering if there is a power failure on an EVA - eg the power on a blower is removed, will Command View log this event?
If so which log? (Management Event log, controller log?)

Re: Command View EVA - logging events
It would depend on what blower the power is removed from. If it is a blower on a drive shelf then it would be in the Management Event Log and if it was a blower on a controller then it would be the Controller Log. However, remember that if you remove the power from the blower you are also removing the power from the power supply as well unless you actually remove the blower from the back of the power supply. Be very careful when doing these things.
Also, if your HP-SIM server is setup with ISEE it will trigger an event that will get sent to HP Support automatically as well. So if you do that expect a call from HP about it.

Once it's in production it's all bugs after that.
