New to this so please be patient....
I need to connect a DL380 G4 (Win Server 2003) with 2 QLogic 2340 HBAs to an IBM ES4500 SAN. The storage team have set up a LUN for me however in Windows Disk Manager I see it twice. I beleive I need some MPIO software. Can I use SecurePath? If yes, I have seen references in this forum to multipath filter driver. Can this be used instead of having to buy a SecurePath licence?
Please forgive me if the terminology isn't spot on.
Many thanks
Neil B

Solution
The software you are looking for is probably IBM's Storage Manager 9. Should be a free download from their site.
I do not believe IBM has any Microsoft MPIO drives yet for their storage and Secure Path is for Hp Storageworks Hardware.
Assuming you mean a DS4500 (The old FAStT900), then take a look here... http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-56707
The Storage Manager comes with a multipath driver and client software to manage the storage system. All you need to install is the RDAC driver (The multiple driver), but will need to download the whole package.
There is another suite of utilities called MSJ (Management Suite Java) Diags and Config Utility. Download this and install. It is similar to the Light Pulse Utility as it gives you an interface into your QLogic card.
