CR3500 Controller
Hi All:
I am running a Proliant CL380, the SAN controller is the CR3500. The OS is NetWare 6.
The question is, does the CR3500 somehow report if it has detected a drive failure within the SAN and if so, how and where?
I run Compaq Insight Manager 5.30 which does not show the CR3500 nor the physical drives. The NetWare volumes are also not visible in Insight Manager. Anything relating to the SAN is not visible in Insight Manager.
Thanks

Re: CR3500 Controller
Stuart:
To get health and storage events from the controller, you need to be running the Health and Storage Agents. You can install the latest ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) on your server and it will install all the agents and drivers you need for this. Here is a link to the PSP:

Hope this helps! -john

Re: CR3500 Controller
Hi John:
Thanks. I searched through the forums yesterday and it seems that the last support for the CL380 was on the 5.50 Management CD. I used the 6.00 Management agents. This will probably explain the lack of reporting in CIM.
Thanks for the reply.
