Crashing while booting from MSA1000
Trying to move my boot device from SCSI disk to my new MSA1000 LUN. Alpha crashes just after the VMS notification. Two node DS20E cluster, VMS 7.3-2, all the latest patches & firmware. Must be some SYSMAN parameters needed. I can see, mount & use the DGA drives when booted from SCSI. I haven't tried to boot the second host yet.

Re: Crashing while booting from MSA1000
Martin,
Make sure the connections on the MSA (to the Alpha) are set as OPENVMS. I don't think they default to this if you accept the defaults.

Re: Crashing while booting from MSA1000
Have you used the wwidmgr to set the boot device in the new msa1000?
when you do a show dev from the >>> prompt you see the boot device configured in the msa1000.
