Cview 7.0

I have a Eva 3000 with controllers hsv100 and a Openview storage works apliance II, in the apliance i have HBA Emulex LP9002, is this configured Cview 7.0, is created group disk, add host, and created vdisk; but in the moment i Present to vdisk your host, in windows I can´t see the disk, some any idea???

A couple things to check:

1) You don't mention any, but have you checked the zoning configuration in your Fibre Channel switches?

2) Is the host "OS type" set to "Windows" in Command View?

I´m check de Zones in the switch and not apear any zone, you recomended create one zone and present ports??

You're pressenting a disk to the Management Appliance II? That cannot be done, the fiber channel driver included on the appliance does not allow LUNs to be pressented to the appliance.

ok, my appliance already has installed the command view, and already create host, but when I want present vdisk to other host only appers in the command view what this ready but in the host from windows administering disk i can´t see the new disk.

There are several things to check here:
- In the EVA the host has been created with the correct WWNs?
- The zoning allows the host to reach the EVA?
- What do you see in Windows Device Manager starting with HSV100?
- MPIO or Securepath installed on host?
