Default ID and password for Command View
We just loaded Command View 8.0. We have not been able to login yet.
Is there a default ID and password when CV gets loaded?
Thanks.

Re: Default ID and password for Command View
Initially log into 'administrator' using the admin password for the Windows server on which you loaded command view. Any Windows user account in the "HP Storage Admins" group can access all functionality in Command View.

Re: Default ID and password for Command View
During the first installation we selected domain authentication. No ID we tried worked. So, we reinstalled using local authentication and we are now able to login.
Not sure what the difference was but, we're past it.
Thanks.

Re: Default ID and password for Command View
You have to define a new Group in your AD with the name "HP Storage Admins" and insert the persons that you want to administer the Command View.
The same with "HP Storage Users" if you want to use non-administrator users.
