Device path change
Hi,
we have a san environment using Data Protector for our backup. I notice that various time the device of windows servers (drives in DP) are changing causing backups to fail. Our windows server are being rebooted frequently due to all the security patches. Does any of you encounter this problem and have some solution for me?
Tnx.

Re: Device path change
Make sure that your library and drives are seen in device manager only once, i.e. there's only one path to them. As I know multiple pathing to tape devices is not supported

Re: Device path change
Hello Rayen,
you should use Persistent Bindings
to prevent your Devices from changing
ID`s in Windows Environment after Rebboting.
Let me know if you`re successing.
