Hi,
I am confused about these two softwares. Can any body tell me the difference between these, since what i think is that there is a very thinline differentiating them.

Solution
Both are multi-pathing software that manage multiple paths from server to disk array to prevent the same LUN / vdisk showing up as several independent disks.
Secure Path is HP's own multi-pathing software and was more feature-rich than MPIO. However, MPIO is free and Secure Path was expensive.
I say 'was' because most versions of MPIO now support extra features like load-balancing that used to only be available in Secure Path. Secure Path worked with a lot of HP's older kit, but HP's recent offerings are completely compatible with MPIO, and as such, HP has all but withdrawn Secure Path from the market.
