Duplicate Drives on san attached Windows Server & VDS Error
Hi,
We recently had a failure on one of our eva controllers and it was replaced. Since then one of our SAN attached servers has displayed duplicate drives.
Normally we have c:,d:,e:,f:
Now have c:,d:,e:,f:,g:,h:,i:
Also, in disk managment the c: does not show details and an "internal error" message is generated when I try to refresh or rescan the disks.
In event log -
VDS Basic Provider 1.0
Unexpected failure. Error Code: 1@01010018
EVA5000
Qlogic 2300 FCA
Windows 2003 SP1
The machine is still working but wants to run chkdsk on boot up.
I'd be greatful for anyones thoughts.
